November 22, 2023: As shown in the planning, there will not be a lab on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, 8pm-10pm. There will not be a lecture and lab on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 (4pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm). We meet starting with Tuesday, December 5, 2023, 8pm-10pm, online. We resume in person activities starting with Tuesday, January 9, 2024, 8pm-10pm, room PR706.

October 11, 2023: Welcome to the exciting world of systems security. During the SIS (Security of Information Systems) class we will highlight the most important parts of security in systems, focusing on application, kernel, web app exploiting methods and defense techniques. The class is heavily research-centric: we assume you know the basic stuff or learn it and focus on solving challenges, reading papers and surveying new and interesting ideas in the security world.

Lectures take place on Wednesdays, 4pm-6pm, room PR706. Labs take place on Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm (room EG403), and Tuesdays, 8pm-10pm (room PR706).

The lecture for the first session will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2024, 4pm-6pm, room PR706. The labs for the first session will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2022, 6pm-8pm (room EG403), and Tuesday, October 11, 2022, 8pm-10pm (room PR706).
